Rest... Get plenty of rest the night before.

Hair... Don't change hair styles before your session.

Clothing... If more than one person will be in the photograph, try to coordinate colors to compliment each other. Solid colors or soft pastels work better than busy patterns. Darker tones with long sleeves are more slenderizing. If your session includes clothing changes, you may want to bring extra clothes if you think that one might not photograph well. Try to have an idea of exactly how the outfits will come together (i.e., jewelry, belts, and other accessories, props, etc.)

Make-up tips... Ladies - apply a little more make-up than normal, don't forget the lipstick. Medium tones work well. Guys - please be clean shaven. For "Glamour" type portraits, we can provide a complimentary "make over" session when scheduled ahead of time.

Special Interests... Bring items that reflect your personality, special interests or a theme for the portrait. Remember that you can be photographed with your car or truck, hobby items, pets, virtually anything goes! (Please let us know ahead of time of any pets, vehicles or large items). Ask about our variety of props for non-traditional portrait sessions.
